I don't think so if someone is ragged based on wearing same clothes. Everyone repeats their clothes, but if you play smart people will not notice. For example, wearing the same shirt for 2 days and then wear it after two weeks.

Which university are you talking about? Ragging is different from place to place, and I don't think it is or should be this bad. At GIKI it was bad if you resisted it, but fun if you went along and resulted in getting friends in senior batches
