Twitter OR Facebook?

What do you like most? Why people are stick with facebook and not willing to go for twitter and VICE VERCA.

twitter is good if u need to search something fast, people prefer Facebook may be because you can upload watch videos and pics all at one place.

I need to know why people dun "like" twitter, I mean some of friends actually make fun of me coz I'm a twitter addict =/ lol Specially in pakistan, ppl are more in fb thn twitter. I dun know why?
For me, its both, Facebook I use for personal use as i have my family and close friends there, I can share photo, vdos etc at one place. And twitter is more like a news update thing for me :P as im following the official accounts of different news paper, news channels and clebs so i dun need to read news paper or watch a news channel : P

PS :- Isn't it a repeat question btw ? *thinks*

This is what i don't like that people has made twitter a commercial tool. Well you can communicate with twitter too...

@ Naveed Well I do communicate there too, I got really good friends from twitter. I was just explaining the differentiation I feel about FB and Twitter : )

For friends: I love Twitter more because i believe Facebook is for people in your life, but twitter is for people u wish they were in your life :)
But for activities facebook has a lot of interesting ones ! :D

Totally agree... Facebook is a mess... Pictures, videos, games, questions, links ohhhhh ..... Twitter is just texting and replying right on the tweet and that's it.

Honestly, I am neither that much into twitter nor into facebook. Facebook is basically just a place where I know my friends are, so I am there to update them and interact with them every now and then (especially if they live far away). However, I can totally understand why people like to tweet or be active on Facebook. Perhaps, I am just out of that particular phase :)

I like twitter. Jawab.pk is a simple tool to share my thinking and thoughts. Though i am a blogger too. :)

:) Well I find them okay. Whereas I like to gain knowledge, I do not necessarily like to regularly check what certain people are up to. Call it disinterest or call it maintaining a certain distance :) Jawab.pk is cool! It is almost becoming a mini-online-family. Craziness! ;)

Age factor is out there in your case... May be.. Internet and Iphone is my life and i am 24 hours connected with my Iphone. I like iphone just for the better experience of mobile internet. I am very digitally social person. :)

No age factor id there i feel, I have seen older ppl addicted too Fb and twitter and younger ppl hating it lol it depends how much you're in social networking, Like, I'm not at ALL a social bee but My friends calls me a | social "network| bee : P

I am sure age matters, but I have my own 'philosophy' when it comes to age. So keeping that aside, I too am pretty much 24/7 connected to internet with my cell. It has even substituted my use of laptop. :) I am social in every sense of the word - be it online or offline.

For me its both, twitter and facebook. And the answer to your second question is that people are not shifting to twitter because Facebook is relatively easy to use as compared with twitter and they will take time to learn it

No, for some twitter is more complicated than Facebook. Because they know where to upload photos and videos etc. Its easy for them to look at profiles and see all the information which is not possible on twitter.

There is no any special link for anything in twitter... All the things are done in the same wall.. and the same text box.

I think Facebook is good for family especially if you live abroad its an esay way to share pics and videos with ur family back in Pakistan and for friends to keep in touch and to know whats going on in their life.
But i like Twitter =) i am almost 24x7 loged in its the best place to meet new interessing ppl and express urself =)
