GIKI female students - How is life at GIKI? To what extent does its location and remoteness prove to be a problem?

Life at giki is awesome for girls.They get very nice treatment and plus have a fantastic girls hostel with seperate room and attached baths none of the other boarding universities in pakistan offer such luxury.I think that i was very lucky to get a chance to live in giki because it molded my life in such that i am a completely independent person now plus i have picked up such strong friendships during my life in giki that i value them much more than my assets.Yes females parents have issues regarding the independence and desolation of that place but in reality i think it stengthen female personality and confidence much more...Honestly i wont have to say much than i simply think its an honor to be at such a place and cheerish each and every moment spent there every day.

Life at GIKI used to be wonderful at least when I was there. Miss the time spent at GIKI (Since I am a boy so it was true for boys not sure if it was same for the girls? but the comment I read from the year book at the end of 4 years, even the life for them was amazing).

Life in GIKI has been the most wonderful experience I have ever had. They have excellent hostel facility, separate rooms with attached washrooms. Along with that, there is a Dining system and Tuck Shops as well, from where you can buy almost any basic item. Girl’s hostels are very secure, there is a curfew time after which girls could not go out of the hostel, and this ensures the safety of them. Its remoteness and location did not prove to be a problem, because a bus facility is available every weekend, which takes and brings you back from Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Peshawar. Overall, campus environment is good, and as Mahreen mentioned earlier, it has a lot more to offer. It strengthens your personality and improves your confidence, plus gives you life long friends.
