How do you think the "Change" that we want will come about in Pakistan? Do you even think there is a possibility?

1) Do you believe in the possibility of a Revolution? If yes who is/are expected to bring it ?
2) Do you otherwise think that it'll happen through General Elections?
3) Why do you think our People do not take a stand and/or are not willing to 'hit the streets' no matter what keeps happening around?
4) Our country has a considerably low literacy rate and most of the educated people do not vote (In disappointment), so in this scenario, do you think democracy is the answer to our problems? If No, What is? If Yes, how will democracy bring the change?

We all are talking about this change we want to see, but we just kinda lost nation, as you said, people don't want to hit the streets, they always blame the govt and the officials but dun do any thing on their own, the ONLY way to make things better in Pakistan is change as in person, think positive, do good things, start from your home, start from your street, the educated people plays an imp role here, they can volunteer n can teach the illiterate ones. The kids, make them confident about Pakistan, this is something I wud call self revolution, I have mentioned it on Jawab already, we all need it. We all need to make steps to bring this change.

I totally agree with you when you say that us Pakistanis are mostly too busy winning the bread for our family to have any spare time to even think about a revolution.
Though People are definitely learning from their experience with these corrupt politicians too, that they voted, and probably may not vote for them in times to come, but we are always vulnerable to a military coup too. There is no way to avoid it without having strong democratic institutes moreover, what about foreign intervention? Some people even say that our governments and elections are completely controlled by foreign elements, how to tackle that aspect? What or who can guarantee that the next elections or the ones after would be free and fair and wont be influenced by any elements?

the foreign interference in the main issue, not just an issue, a chain of issues and I seriously don't know how we gonna tackle that.

Yes I'm sure 'Change' will come in Pakistan and it will come soon. In next five years I'm seeing a different Pakistan, a country on track after 60 years. I don't think about any Revolution because this region had never involved in any bloody revolution. Yes election is the only process to bring the change in the country. How people take a stand? They are running for their bread and butter. They have no time even for themselves. They first make the efforts for the survival of their families then they will think something else. Only a true leader can mobilize a nation. Finally vote power have to come in action to bring a positive and peaceful change in the country. We only need a 'true leader'. Quade e Azam led a nation which is much less literate than today's, he speaks with them in English, and that time no one could understand. Even though the nation struggled for a common cause and succeeded. We shouldn't allow hopes to die. <i> zara nam ho tou yeh matti bohat zarkhez hai saqi <i>

so how exactly do you see it happening?? Why and how do you think the voters will become responsible now?? Any guesses? What makes you give that 5 year timeline? what do you foresee??

Democracy like trick down effect, so gradually incompetent politician will be eliminate. By awareness, media will help them to be more responsible. Its a newly democracy and already you have seen 18th amendment which give more autonomy to provinces. I've a example my family was sporter of PMLN but now after their poor performance in Punjab, now my family is looking toward IK. I think, this is transition period in Pakistan from Dictatorship to Democracy. So i think, next gov will perform much better. I'm looking being a young Pakistani looking a new progressive Pakistan in coming years.

Yes I believe in possibility of revolution in Pakistan but depending on government and politicians to bring revolution is hopeless. Pakistan dont need huge revolution and there is absolutely no need of blood shed in country.
I think we individually need to understand what change we want in our society and how we should bring in that change. We don't have to think of big change at once, Think small like; if we want clean Pakistan then we should throw garbage in dustbins only, if you want to stop bribery than stop giving/taking bribes etc.
Because we want good leaders than we should first become a nation worth it.
