Is Amazon Kindle sold in Pakistan? Any other good e-reader device you can suggest?

I'm looking for something portable with a decent PDF reader, preferably WITHOUT the capability of running games, videos and music.

Amazon unfortunately does not ship the Kindle to Pakistan. As far as I'm aware, no e-reader manufacturer sells their product here. There are some companies(?)/firms that will import the Kindle for you, for minimal charges, but I'm generally wary of such practices, and will wait till I'm able to get my hands on it through the proper channels.

No, however people and even some big outlets e.g Illusions in Islamabad sell it, for a little higher price.
As an alternative you can use Sony Ebook Reader.

I would say http://www.storemass.com online shopping solution company in Pakistan. Their product delivery time is good and they brought something new on table by bringing amazon, ebay products for pakistani users. Order them and they will deliver products from your favorite international brand/retailers.

in my opinion kindle is the best e-reader device! nd as far as amazon outlet is concerned i myself wanna have info about it caz their is a prob with the charging port of my kindle i want a replacement or something.u probably r looking it for ur children that is why u wanna avoid fun things like games nd all but let me tell u kindle can give u all the stuff like games ,videos, movies fb nd all the time wasting things a lot easier than the books :p

No, I wanted one for myself and didn't want any entertainment features in it because those would just be distractions.

i am not sure about if its shipped to pakistan or not cause i didn't buy it myself got it as a gift but i can say for sure that its brilliant as as e-reader and i recommend it!
