What can we get out of Jawab.pk? How can we best utilize this website?

The reason I started Jawab.pk was because we didn't have a central place where people could get answers to all the common problems we faced. You could normally do a Google search for a problem and chances were you could either something ranging from nothing relevant, to a lot of links discussing the matter and reaching or not reaching a conclusion/answer. We had gupshup forums, stuff on facebook/twitter (and twitter is pretty effective too) and then we had closed groups for example my own university's alumni group on Yahoo where we always had lots of valuable knowledge but which unfortunately was closed to the public.

So yes the idea is to have a central place where we have solutions to problems that people face pretty commonly. Our first "success story" was this question: http://jawab.pk/q/how-get-domicile-certificate-in-lahore-whats-its-procedure/791 where the user actually found Jawab searching for "Domicile in pakistan" on google (we already had a question about it but it didn't have a satisfactory answer). Then she also happened to ask on another forum where she got an answer. AND one of our users managed to search the answer that SHE got on that forum and pasted it as an answer here (of course citing that as source). She then returned and as comment posted her own experience of getting the domicile. So, this is something that will help everyone in the future and its what Jawab.pk aims to achieve :) We're already getting many hits from google from people searching for Domicile in Lahore.

I think I might have digressed from the question :P But, the "Guides" section on Jawab.pk aims to achieve exactly this by creating proper Guides for really important questions. While for users to best utilize Jawab.pk they can ask about similar problems that they would be having and they can help with their experiences :)

Yes the "Guides" is exactly what Jawab is for, And inshAllah if it goes on the right way like that, It wud hv a big name. What i like about Jawab is that it's all about Pakistan : )

jawabpk can be promoted beyond admin thoughts via twitt n other social monsters;)
wt it will give us is definitely a platform,a direction,a focus,and ultimately a better way of understanding problems we face........
it should not be supposed to solve just the daily life issues,but actually the youth should come forward and erase the blots and outdated thoughts provoked by dead or dying corrupt politicians whose single emotional black mailing address gives them the authority!
if even a single satisfactory answer can get me on my track,jawabpk is 100% guidance for me,n then it is upto you whether you want to utilize it or not

I think we should focus more on serious problems which normal Pakistani faces in routine life. If we could provide solutions to those problems then the basic aim of Jawab will be fulfilled :)
