Why is it that people tend to ask questions using the minimum amount of words and reply in the same manner?

I mean, this problem seems to be specific to Pakistanis. Can't people write in complete sentences and give detailed responses?

Well, I guess even when Pakistanis talk they tend to interrupt each other....and the fact that we like to have things done effortlessly plays a part as well. It's more economical to use less words.

Or maybe its because when someone (me) is trying to ask a detailed question, it says <140 words only> or <word limit exceeded>

Yes, need to do something about that, but I wasn't talking about that :) Even if you look at other forums, Pakistanis do tend to be very "brief" if you'll call it. Sumi's theory might be correct that we're always fearing that we'll be interrupted :P

I think its not just in Pakistan, everyone is going after 'be precise' principle. And its also good in a way as it saves time and there is no ambiguity in understanding exactly what the person is asking and what other person needs to reply :)
