i think degree is important. it's not that everyone can easily become entrepreneurial that they can employ themselves right after graduation from a bachelor's degree. and it's easy to be self-employed if the private sector is rapidly sacking employees, even their executives. but going back, given that the population in pakistan is large and people who can afford tertiary education often opt for postgraduate studies, the competition in the workplace is a bit fierce. having a degree would somehow give you that assurance that you're not gonna be dumped soon.

i think Talent is lock and the degree is the key that lock ... the combination of both makes a person succeed in his/her life ... degree can easily give you job but your growth depends on your talent ...

Ofcourse degree is more important than talent in Pakistan but I think combination of both is vital to stay at good job. Even If you have good degree and zero talent then you cant survive in market. So you need both talent and degree
