Well no , you will get pass when you reach SBC, but you need someone from inside (the guy who called you probably) to drop an email to SBC gate security with you name. Thats it...
At student level, it is all you will be going to have as a professional experience when you'll apply as a fresh grad.
And also it IS counted as a solid experience in any industry eg, if some telecom opening has a 1-yr. exp. criteria then your internship exp. will be counted.
