Pakistan’s produces about 60,000 barrels of oil per day which only meets approximately one sixth of the country’s current oil requirement and the rest is being imported.

It pretty shocking having such a big petrolume sector with all foriegn companies working we still are unable to meet our own requirment and have to impot oil inoder to meets daily needs and because of this importing oil problem we stand in lines at petrol pumps and buy such expensive oil...

Yea surely it is shocking as well as frustrating... another thing where we lack is that we dont' have any competent oil exploring company... Not a single one...

We lack facilities and finance to invest and explore enough oil resources to develop a sustainable supply.
