Facebook will be banned in Pakistan permanently ...is it true?

Lahore High Court has observed ban on Facebook pages & websites(from October 6) that are inciting religious hatred not entire Facebook.Media hyped up falsely & as usual people went hysterical.

Just like it is in Ksa, they have banned all those pages which are against Islam but rest of website is working

The four days old news says it's gonna be banned in Pk but then I read New/tweets that only offensive/abusive pages wud get banned.

I don't think they can ban Facebook in Pakistan. As they already know that this action will make youth more against the present government, and they cant afford it now.
P.S Its my wishful thinking, I hope they are thinking the same :P

nabeha coz american hve copy sum images frm fb and their info along and declare those pple as terrorist and u knw who they are????they are muslims...its a way of attacking us ..i knw fb is a gr8 way of fun and info .....but we should be with our gov.

If it will be banned then just change your proxy , couple of websites offer proxies and ips of different countries , so hide yours and use that ;)

Its not cheating government. Firstly, they have not banned it yet and secondly even if they its our right to use whatever communication channel we want. Facebook is not just for fun, there are ppl who earn through it too and plus my thesis paper is also on it so no I wont call it cheating anyone. Its okay to do whatever we want as long as we are not doing any harm to Pakistan, that is what our government also need to focus
