For most of you who already live in a Muslim country, do you still do dawah? And if yes, how?

Because it is easy to identify dawah activities in non-Muslim countries. However, in a Muslim country, do you still strive to show people that you are a Muslim, not only by name, but also by practice? And if yes, how do you do it?

There are different groups in Pakistan dedicated for this cause.

Ever heard of RAIWIND ??

There are formations of groups for Dawah in almost every Mosque in Pakistan where some local people volunteer time and then sent to other areas for this cause in Groups. This mass network is known as "Tableeghi Jamat" whose HQ is in the city of Raiwind (a small city near Lahore).

There are other groups as well though I happen to know about this one only...

I don't think that people practice it normally in Pakistan. I am not sure about groups though.

Dawah work is done almost all the countries of the world.

but maybe i was looking for a particular action that differs dawah work in an already Muslim country compared to a non-Muslim country. because surely their strategies will be a bit different.

Well, da'wah is pretty simple.. meaning... if you believe in something, and you practise it, that is the best way to do da'wah.. The prophet Muhammad (saw) used to do things a certain way, and people would follow (sunnah). Point being, if a muslim or non-muslim at that see you practising something good... or something which they have not seen before, surely they will ask questions (if the interest is there) and will want to know further

Da'wah is not about shoving Islam down a bunch of boys homes, or knocking on doors to make the men of the house go and pray, or force women to wear hijab... it is about showing things in a natural way, the correct way, the middle path.. with love and not raising your voice.. as they say 'actions speak louder than words!'
