Well, da'wah is pretty simple.. meaning... if you believe in something, and you practise it, that is the best way to do da'wah.. The prophet Muhammad (saw) used to do things a certain way, and people would follow (sunnah). Point being, if a muslim or non-muslim at that see you practising something good... or something which they have not seen before, surely they will ask questions (if the interest is there) and will want to know further
Da'wah is not about shoving Islam down a bunch of boys homes, or knocking on doors to make the men of the house go and pray, or force women to wear hijab... it is about showing things in a natural way, the correct way, the middle path.. with love and not raising your voice.. as they say 'actions speak louder than words!'
