How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?

Because things are just things, they can't bring happiness to everyone. For example money can buy things but it can't buy happiness. We can bring happiness to others. :D I try my best to make people happy.

Simple, we all are unique. One of us myt hate tomatoes for no reason, that doesnt demean the goodness of tomatoes and also that doesnt mean others wud hate it too. At times its about choices. A morning walk bring smiles to my grandfather and brings nightmare too. Beauty lies in beholders eyes, and happiness lies in individual's heart.!!

Well I think we all have different special things in life. Those who can relate with it are happy while others are waiting for something else to happen, which means nothing to us . I love the way this little difference adds variety and flavor in life.
We should respect this difference and shouldn't expect everyone to be happy for everything.

Because they expect a little different from you. They are hoping you won't change and often... when you do, they can't handle the change properly. I think it just needs getting used to. Until they realize that changes are inevitable. Until then... be strong and never stray from your real agenda.

Well probably the things that make me happy don't make others happy, but by making others happy, you get happy yourself. Then why not make others happy and be happy yourself too?
Plus, it is perhaps a matter of choice, some of the things are really important, while not at all worthy for others.

That's very simple yar coz everyone has his/her own unique likes/dislikes, preferences, values, etc... May be loud music makes me happy but definitely it will make many unhappy infact fierce ;) ... Thats how it is... :) Gotcha???
