How does the graveyard system work in Pakistan?

There is no proper system here... First you have to pay for the grave to the graveyard administration and their workers will dig a grave for you... Jaga nai bhi hogi tb bhi they'll give it somewhere :( even sometimes very near to walking area... Behurmati hoti hai aisay qabron ki... Here they dnt buldoze them instead people make graves firm using marble nd ceramics etc.. :( another unfortunate thing it is...!!
In Islamabad the system is a bit better... The good thing is that graveyards are only in specific places under CDA... they dnt make them overcrowded... When u go their u can easily find grave of ur deceased ones... Nd they also provide funeral buses as well...

Since the graveyards are overly crowded, some people book the space for graves before ...

What happens often in over-crowded graveyards that wherever they dig a new grave, a body is found inside it ( even under the pathways) ... so they cover the body up with sand and prepare the grave above it .... You have to pay the "GORKAN" (the graveyard guy) and he can take care of every grave-related work ...

And you also have to fill a Form and get it signed by the Graveyard Admin. Remember this form is very important as it will be required in the legal paperwork (property, inheritance, certificates etc.)

The well maintained graveyards are there too specially Military graveyards ...

Well we have to pay for the grave and rest of the work is the responsibility of the administration of that graveyard.

we have different graveyard for Muslims and Christians ... and we have to pay for the place in graveyard and the workers there will dig the place for u and do all the necessary things ... !
i have not seen graveyard demolished or re-creating the graves for new people as in KSA the roll bulldozer over the graves after 20 years and reopen for the new dead bodies ...!

graveyards work on a simple principle.! gorkann ko paisay dain . aur jagah apni mrze ke muntakhib krain.! apny kisi bhe aziz rishtay dar k pas ! jagah nkalna ab uss ka msla hy chahay uss qabristan k bahir borad he lga hua ho k jagah khatam ho chukee hy.!

graveyards come under different authorities ek tau kent borad ,phir municipility board aur phir private qabristan bhi .! kent board walay tau jb jagah khatam ho jati hy tau akhbar main add dete hain k hm nae jagah bnanay lgy hain ya bulldoze krny lgy hain tau agr kisi ne apny rshtay dar ko shft krna hy tau woh chrges de kr le jay.!

aur private qabristan ap ko aksar jagah nazar aaen gay.! jo k bad main kafi jagah khali hony ke wjah se bnd he paray rhty hain aur thoray se log unn main dafan hotay hy jo k ziadtee hy.!

bht km authorities CDA ke tarah planned qabristan bnati hain.! jb k in every housing community when desigend shud have a provision of qabristan .!
