True but you can do all that with just a bachelors degree. You can further polish your skills in a particular skill and freelance. But what does a masters degree add? I guess in some cases the person might become "overqualified" or demand a higher salary for the same value that others are providing. :)

Umm with masters degree you develop your skills in one particular domain of computer science. It may be cloud computing, artificial intelligence or Software Project management or anyother domain, you name it. So, it would be beneficial ofcourse. No doubt on that. Plus this masters degree will help you alot once you move abroad.
Plus, at some point of time I was thinking to do MBA after my graduation, but now that I have graduated I don't feel like that its a good combination. But before opting anything give alot of thinking on that. The final choice is always yours =)

Ah yes thats a good point. So I guess it would be wise to properly research and then select a specialization for masters.

I guess in Computer Science your experience would matter more than your qualification. So an ASP developer having 2 years experience might be wanted more than a person who spent those 2 years in a Masters degree perhaps specializing in databases.

Yes but if you need higher position in any firm, then you need Masters

But advances in computer science are happening all the time. Infact I don't think a Masters would be the right thing to "get updated". For that you have to read read read and attend seminars/webinars, and read more :) But yea, thanks!
