Falling in love is something very common these day, if you're talking about that then I wud say people consider "attraction" as love n thats a mistake But I believe falling in love means respecting someone, accepting that person with all his goods and bads. It's not the attraction of looks but the attraction of mind and souls, I read somewhere, A love for a love, a soul for a soul" : )
P.S I do believe that meetups play very important rule too as they make your love n relationship stronger.

If you have never met the person, my question would be: How did you get to know the person? Do you simply know that the person exists or do you even interact with that person?
I believe that someone can fall in love with someone even without having met him/her before (in real - that is, face-to-face meeting). Love does not follow any certain rule or pattern. I think, it just happens. However, what 'love' really is - what it means, is another question. :)

I believe it is possible. :) Now, as Sumi said, the definition of love would come at this point and err. :P

I believe its possible, but would the "love" continue after meeting? That would depend on how accepting the people can be I guess, as they discover more about the person.
Or whether the "spark" depended on not meeting?

However, with true love I BELIEVE these aspects don't really matter and it continues all your life. Communication is the key, without which everything can mess up. "A single moment of misunderstanding is so poisonous. That it makes you forget, hundred lovable moments spent together"

As they say, "love is blind", you may fall in love with some person without even meeting him/her. But, yeah pre requisite is to at least know that person some how.

We often confuse love with addiction and obsession. Love is when you are ready to go extra mile to be with someone and I doubt it happens so easily.
