'Twitter world is fake' - Agree or Disagree?

I'd say no. Infact I think it is more real than Facebook. Apparently people cant afford to make fake accounts and tweet much, coz that aint no fun. Secondly twitter saves you from so much formalities of introductions and stuff. you can hit a follow button and start interacting.

Nope, It's not.. I cant give you any special reason other than the verifying account option, which is commonly used by the celebs and what Awais has mentioned.
See, twitter is all about sharing your thoughts, views and opinions and you cant be fake with them, your thoughts are like your face there, people identify you through them. Even I used to think that few people are being fake on my TL but then I realized that's the way they always stay, Though It's very easy to fake on internet but twitter is a bit different, like there are lesser chances to be fake and probably that's reason people find it boring and prefer facebook. :)

One's twitter account is as fake or as one own's self. True people use it as a social networking site which it has become in someway. However, the importance of twitter as a form of information hub cannot and should not be misjudged which it has always aimed to be. You know how they say...a thing is not good or bad plainly....it's the usage. So I firmly DISAGREE!

other than those fake accounts and all....
at times... people just tweet stuff to gain attention of others,especially someone known i.e a celebrity or a journalist,no matter what they are tweeting is right or not...
similarly, i have observed that, a few tweeps, again just to get followers or attention without thinking second anyones idea or view,
as naturally humans are always attracted towards anything that has something aggressive or negative related to it.

one day...a friend said... i tweeted something against Pakistan/against muslims just to know how do other ppl react, especially talking about secularism and liberalism & was replied by some known ppl... n my views were welcomed...

disagreed ...much better and safe from facebook:)

I may be biased in this,but I actually lost a very good twitter friend who proved to be fake after some 4 months.My confidence level was dead low back then in twitter.But in past few days,I have met some tweeps and also talked to some on phone.So after that my confidence is restored.So yes,there ARE fake accounts.

Well, I believe some people on Twitter are fake. Not the place itself! :)

PS: I'm not talking about people with the fake ID here.
