What do Pakistani people think or (stereotype) about Pakistani kids growing up in USA/UK/Canada etc?

Many people (especially elder people) are scared that these children do not understand or know Pakistani values and are way too liberal. Many are of the view that these children must be way too independent, enjoy freedom and indulge in things they would mostly consider inappropriate in Pakistan. Often people also think that they cannot speak proper Urdu/Punjabi, but easily get impressed by their English and the fact that they live abroad. Apart from that, many assume that those coming from abroad must be very rich and well-off - very much clichéd (stereotyped).
It is a mixture of getting impressed easily, but being a bit reserved as well.

I don't know, but Pakistanis find it hard to understand what they are saying (either it is urdu or english) :P
because urdu, they speak in such a way, which no one can understand
and english, they speak so fast that we just stare at them and all we could respond is, "What??" :P

It depends on your family,and people you wud be living with.
Some people don't like them, thinking they are way to liberal (even if they're not) Some people get excited, thinking like "OMG AMERICAN/CANADIAN" relatives are gonna visit. Some wud get jealous too :P so it totally depends how u get along with them. But they have good hearts and are very emotional so just be normal with them, love and respect them, they gonna make it double in return.
As far as the language is concern, yes they ask you to learn urdu or the mother tongue, they value these things, but it's not really a big issue *self experience*
Yeah the electricity issue, if you ever complain abt light, they would either start cursing the govt or they would give you a lecture on "this is light issue is part of Pakistan so bear it" :P So I would advice you to avoid discussing that. *self experience again* : )

I think they are not well aware about the real Pakistani and Islamic culture. They think that they are superior. If they don't speak good urdu, they think it as honor and I hate this thing. They try to adopt what they shouldn't.

They think those kids are not grown up with the ethics and culture in which they should ... they dont listen to thier parents ... dont respect them ... live alone ... etc etc ... !
