To think positive is an ability, but to think negative is not an 'ability'... its natural extinct i believe... and someone who can't think negative, i think he has to deal with a 'disability'... :))

well, a normal human being can easily differentiate b/w positive and negative... if they can't, again its a disability..!!

Well I dont agree Faiq.. To think positive is even a natural thing, we often do that unintentionally to keep our hopes high

I haven't said its not natural, that's obvious.. i was actually talking about the point Osama had made that 'thinking negative is an ability'... well its a common instinct present in everyone ...rite... dats my point ... I mean, we can't categorize ppl in these two classes...

me mom today told me on phone that think positive and everything works out fine. truth is i tend to be pessimistic, something what people would call thinking negative.. sometimes 'better be safe than sorry approach'. being pessimistic has its advantages, if things go wrong, you're already prepared for it. if they go good, then its a surprise. :D

had been born a monkey, i would have loved the monkey race... i would have probably even boo'ed the humans that they are our decendents... and had somebody complained, i would have said "i dont say it, its people amongst you :D oo oo aa aa!!"
had i been born an elephant, i would have loved the elephant race. i would laugh at humans for being so proud while being so short and nimble. i would have used a human skull to play football with me mates(friends... and even otherwise, doesnt matter)
had i been born a crow, i would have loved the crow race. i would have cawed late at night in the neighbourhood and steal the soaps from the bathrooms.
had i been born a cat, i would have loved the cat race. i would have loved to keep a human as pet with the human foolishly thinking the otherway round.

I love the level of acceptance we have and our courage to make difference. We humans can do wonders just be believing in ourselves..
The thing which I really hate is jealousy and envy. Sadly, its not easy for us to see success of others.
