What do you think of jawab having an online magazine or blog where everyone could contribute...?

...contribute by writing an article or something interesting (facts, story, news, something related to history, culture, etc.)
...contribute by sharing some pictures and describing it

We have jawabians from different Pakistani cities and also those living abroad - we could use this in order to promote Pakistan, exchange our thoughts and see how much we share things or differ ...

Is it just me or does anyone else think that this could be a huge thing? :))

Its not just you, even I think it to be a Huge thing :D
Okay so firstly it will be awesome if we 'Jawabians' could get a place to write blogs or share thoughts like a forum. Sometimes direct answers are not enough to clear confusions and we can use those places to clear things out. Secondly, it will be more fun if we could share news,facts,stories etc. And there should be Hikmats for those who are contributing quality work. The features with highest credibility (decided either by moderator or votes) should be placed at the top of that page.

Note for Admin :- Start thinking about it :)

True, the questions were originally intended to ask a particular problem, and have people reply according to their experience. But, our current community seems more interested in discussions ;) So, yes, will have to think up something to facilitate this.

I think jawab blog is already up or it's gonna be a part of jawab soon ? n only the admin is allowed to post there?
Having a jawabs blog would be an awesome thing, it cud be used as a platform to share/spread positive news/happening related to Pakistan, yes the positives ones that we really need right now.
We have really good writers here they can express there views on different events in happening Pakistan, i mean sometimes you feel like sharing rather thn asking .. right?
and keep it clean, the blogs should be approved by the admin or the moderators before they get posted as it does not happen with questions n you are right, this can be a really big thing but.. that's not the main purpose of jawab so here I'm confused : )

:) Jawab can be used as a "brand" which offers different "products": a platform to ask (this place) and a place to share (blog/magazine). What do you think? Possible, right? multi-purpose :)

Yup, Jawab blog is up (just a little more polishing before its public here). But that blog is about updates to Jawab itself.

If this idea is implemented, it certainly won't be about "regular news", but more of the type of the existing questions with "long discussion". We could instead have our more "prolific" contributors write up their thoughts on general issues. But again, need to do a lot more thinking before I can say anything for sure. The part about "main purpose of Jawab", true, that is not the main purpose but its somewhat related, especially since our Questions are being used for that :P So... I'm still going to give priority to development of the Q&A portion, and that could be a place that complements the Q&A

Where will be Pakistan in 2020?

I cannot predict where Pakistan will be in 2020. No one can. But our actions today can definitely tell us where we are headed. So if we want to change the destination, the actions must be changed (on every level)
