Within the family. She is well accustomed to our culture, tradition. An outsider may or may not adjust himself/herself to the family. I think within the family.

Sceince has proved time and again its better to marry someone outside the family. Not only it helps a better offspring but also helps in cultural mingling.

Out of the family is better ...
1) as we have heard about the child disability probability increases within the family
2) Couple try to understand the likings and dis likes of each other which creates a good bond between them
3) No initially fights (tumko pata hai main yeh nai khate/khata ... bla bla)

For a well connected family, it might be better within the family but for most of time it's better to marry outside the family so that the past grudges are not brought into future relations.

I prefer within the family, as far as culture n traditions is concerned, he/she might don't get such issues cuz of years of mutual understandings between the two families.
However, outsiders are more useful at some bad situations(issues) like ego, attitude n blah blah khandani problems... I wud still in favour of within the family.
