What is purpose of "choose as best answer" / What is Popular Jawab?

Question for Jawabians:
What points do you keep in mind when you choose an answer as best ?
- The satisfactory answer to the asker should be the best answer, as we have it here now or the answer that has got maximum number of votes should be the one ? just wondering.

Question for Admin:
The answers that appear in popular jawab block, are the one that have got maximum votes or chosen best answers or totally random?

Note to Admin: Don't you think these two questions should be mentioned in FAQs ? or you should have a separate sections for suggestions ?

Useful question!

The question asker can choose Best Answer, this will be the answer that they found to best answer their question.

Popular Jawab however chooses an answer randomly which has atleast 3 votes (this method of selecting might change soon)

Oh and yes, popular jawab's are only answers from questions that are selected in Top Questions. And Top Questions are ones either directly related to Pakistan or other important discussions

The purpose to choose best answer is to get the most satisfactory answer, not the one with highest votes. But I think that popular questions are those which have highest votes or are related directly with Pakistan. Only admin can confirm it though

Alright, I used "choose as best" feature only once I guess, so I wasn't clear about it.

Choose as best is THE BEST answer for that question and the person who asked the question can only decide the Best answer and gets 5 hikmats and the one whose answer was chose as best answer will get 30 hikmats for that ...
Popular jawab is the question which gets lots of answers and votes ... ! (correct me if i m wrong admin)
