What major should i study to become a journalist ? and from which university ??

Honestly i want to be an Engineer and specificlly wanna join the computer science field and want to be a software engineer , but the thing is that i was a very good student till matric but i don't know what happened , now the life has totally changed i'm done with intermediate but ain't gotten good marks , i was A-1 grade student but now i'm a B grade student , well thats another tragic story......so i realised that i'm not eligible of getting admission in any good engineering university so i've started thinking about some other things than engineering and one of them is to be a journalist , i don't have much information about this field so please do let me know your ideas , and also tell me is it good field and what shoould i study and where ?? its a very hard time for me i don't know what should i choose to study , in short i've ruined my life but now want a nice solution to get my that life back :/

you must properly decide what is actually want to be....remaining confused is just a wastage of tym ....firstly think properly ..and after you have decided than remain firm on it..

I've got 54 % marks in intermediate , so i'm not elligible of getting admission in any of highly ranked universities and in any good field , so i'm totally confuse now :/ :(
Do you have any suggestions ?
