Religious History: tainted with sectarianism.
Strong Defense - army navy and all: it cannot sustain a full scale war for more than a couple of months max.
Natural Resources & Beauty like beautiful sights and locations: there are prettier places elsewhere.
Talented People: world is full of em.

when i look at it rationally, i can hardly find anything 'uniquely' positive, and i am talking while 'pretending' to be an outside observer..positive in a unique sense i repeat. even if you look at corruption, there are places having more corruption than us :|....
but when i think of it, despite all this, it is still thriving and kikkin some @$$. it is the only place i know which can take so much sustained punishment, and still remain standing.

the european powers were devastated in ww2... but that was blunt force trauma, it came upon them and passed away... but we, have got some serious stamina. i still dont know why we are still not like zimbabwe else hum ne kasar koi chori nahin.

Ali, general question to you, why the hell you alwaysssss critisize Pakistan... I mean, alwayysssss.... Why so??? Nabeha mentioned some of good nd positive pointsss and as per the question u need to give ur opinion about this query..not to do what you are doing... And if u want to criticize, then boi, come up with some healthy criticism so that we can hit back a healthy response to that... =)

i am not criticizing pakistan as such, i am just trying to be a realist.
the very notion of "Pakistan is the best multinational super natural the chosen wonder best fighting force ultimate war machine double powered high on spirit iqbal fueled jinnah guided youth shaped spearheading awsome law abiding fully courageous ultra conscious super power World dominating entity. And Islam comes somewhere in the middle of all all the things mentioned " is detrimental to our national health. i am sure you must have read the pakistan studies course somewhere in your study life, i dont know about you, but i consider it utter BS.

there are things positive here, but i was talking about something to be proud of... something uniquely positive, and that has been mentioned in the last part of my answer. And that fact is my only hope that someday it will prosper because till now, it has shown that it very well can.
