If someone stole your Pakistani ID card, you should (1) first go to a police station and get a FIR copy. This is to make sure no one misuses your ID card. In my case I did not do that as I did not know about this step. (2) Then you should take the FIR copy to NADRA so that they can block/cancel your old ID card and issue a new one. In my case, even though I clearly stated that my ID card got stolen, no one asked me for a FIR copy and simply gave me a token to go through the required steps needed to make a new ID card.
Question: Are any further steps needed?
Thank you all for your replies so far! :)
