See, today, the right to vote has be given to females here so things are changing rapidly, There was a campaign took place in last june, where women protected against this law, they droves on roads of the major cities then few of them was arrested for breaking the law.

The Basic Law of Saudi Arabia states that the Quran is the constitution of the country and that the Kingdom is to be governed on the basis of Islamic Law (Sharia) and as far as I know Islam is not against women driving.
