Why aren't we like the Libyans/Egyptians/Tunisians?

i think egyptians and tunesians are not better then us. it took them several decades to realize that something needs to be done. while in pakistan, i guess the timeline for such a change is approx 10 years (which is many times less then the arab revolts). we did it to ayub khan and then to musharraf.

it could be lesser, but you know, we are steel heads. our brains are hard to mold. we dont complain of corruption as long as we get a share in it. and i hate my people for that. they are soo stupid that they take money to give vote. i mean fine take the money, but atleast cheat him and vote for someone else.

Well, I think the more important question is, How can we bring that change in country? How can we change this corrupt system.
In our case its democracy and we all know the parties which have ruled till now, are not at all worth our votes, they were corrupt and will always be, then what? A new political party? a new resolution ? who is going to stand up and HOW?

Simple answer is "Numb"... That we are ...

I will not wish to be like Egyptians\Tunisians because I know we can do better. What sort of change do you expect from such a revolt? I expect a very temporary and a fragile one. I would pray day n night that we don't go for such revolts.
Most of our time, we spend in complaining and discussing conspiracies. Whereas there are tools and techniques available for bringing lasting changes and changes that gets you back on the track. We never try to analyze our society and the weak areas which should be focused and yeah solution to our every problem seems to be in a new Govt which always make things more dirtier.
As far as your concern that why can't we be 'good citizens' we need to get in our 'action-mode' and analyze the points which, when focused, can bring a big change.

BECUASE RIOTS THERE IS ONE OF THE SIGHNS OF DAY OV JUDGMENT ND NOT HERE! :P
