Yeah and Im one of them too. It depends, some people are looking for a job, while others want to take full advantage of their skills. If Zuckerberg was also looking for a job then today he would be doing some scripting in Myspace's office and living an unknown life!

Thats what is taught in Harvard, they teach on how to create jobs rather than how to look for jobs!

exactly, currently i have a social network which i have started to promote. Now why would I or any other developer go for working in facebook rather then running my own with more features !

University of South Asia has taken the initiative by launching its own software house where BCS students of USA are working and they are paying off their fee too. :D

great, thats the kind of stuff we need to have at our universities to encourage and provide opportunities to the Students to grow their knowledge-base

Agreed with most of your answer except the point on "about incomplete instructions". A web or software developer is always fully aware of what potential he holds and what he can do with it seeing web giants growing day by day. But the problem is in our country mostly people donot want to go an extra step to do some thing. They just want to be paid against every minute and hour they work, thats it.

I'll have to agree to that, in this industry you need to be in touch with the technology constantly, what sells today can very easily become obsolete in six months.
Awais Amjad | 12 years ago
true.. keeping up with the industry is a must, I have personally noticed many software firms prefer to keep at least one office in Silicon Valley if they are situated outside US or even california to keep an eye on trends!
