Do you think Indian Channels should be banned in Pakistan? & Why has India banned our channels there?

Coz we don't care about our self respect...

Well an Indian take on it:

On Indian TV being Watched in Pakistan:
Saas Bahu Saga:
1. Believe me, case is same here in India too.
2. No youth of our age likes those so called “saas bahu” drama.
3. We are always puzzled why our mom and grandma have to stick with it for so long.
Reality Shows:
1. Few are genuine, rest are all rigged. Half of Indians have anyway lost interest even in the reality shows, thanks to overdose of it.

Pakistani TV banned in India:
Yes, We have no access to Pakistani channels, apart from Qtv. But on the same time we Indians still get entertained by Comedias from Pakistan, we sing the Pakistani tunes and love the Pakistani singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif, Ali Zafar. We watch cricket matches of Pakistan. So as Indian entertains pakistan, we indians are being entertained by pakistani people too. Rahi drama ki baat, hum Indian drama hi nahi dekhte ab Pakistan ke drama bhi laga do toh kya fark padega?! :) :)

Eh ... who cares about Indian channels ? ... Ban them or whatever ... in fact acha hai un Star+ ke jhatkon bhare Dramas se peecha chootey gaa ....

No ... ! because i watch it (reality shows) ... !
even if u banned it there so many site which are living u live Indian channels ... so it wont make any difference ... !

It's not such a big issue if you really take it as Pakistani Citizen. If you really know what difference it is making, if you can really really realize what, a decent and sober, role did the PTV dramas played in our brought up and now we handed that responsibility to the Star nation, and if you really know what is a nation's integration.
We truly love to talk and make things complex so can even talk more about them. Russians, Chinese, Germans, French, you can call them a nation but not us.
We have lost the trust in ourselves as a nation and as an individual.

Hmm, I personally don't believe that 'banning' is a good solution. Just look at the history of China when it comes to media and you will perhaps understand what I am implying...

Nowadays, most of us have access to various channels - Pakistani/Indian/American, etc. There has been a question here on jawab related to media and how much of what media (tv, etc.) shows reflects reality? If you know your values well enough and can differentiate yours from others, then I believe, you are mature enough to watch other channels too...since I believe, there is always something you can learn out of them.

Hmm, see, you can perhaps think about it this way: those Pakistanis who live abroad (especially in a non-Muslim environment), how do those families raise their children? It's the sensibilization/awareness process that matters, which I doubt that it can be achieved by banning certain channels. Teach by watching and analzying, rather than by ignoring and banning and saying 'since India does not allow our channels we are not going to allow theirs either'...

Just wanted to share some thoughts...

yes . because they suck big time .. they have banned ours because our used to be super awesome

in principle it will be bigotry! but if paki channels are banned there, you dont need any other reason to ban theirs!

Sure enough they should be banned,their cultural invasion is even making our granies dance.....
Cheap dramas,fake reality shows,piles of copied stuff,bad rituals,mindbuster family systems,in house traits.........wts more crap u want ur youngers and elders get out of it
